Today we would like to introduce you to a fundamental device for the communication between the PSA Voltri-Pra Terminal and our Partners: the Operations Portal.
The PSA Voltri-Pra portal was completely redesigned in October 2014 and today it is a cutting edge tool available to our partners all over the world. Couriers, shipping companies and agents can interface with our systems and request the booking and collection of containers, as well as obtain information and manage operations reports in a simple and transparent fashion.
In order to access the system you need to be registered. Once the authentication process has been completed, the user has access to a general control panel that allows them to interact directly with the various aspects of life at the Terminal.
In the “Web Customs” section the user can request custom clearance checks, which are automatically converted on the TOS (Terminal Operating System). The “Finance” section on the other hand is designed to meet the administrative needs of the customers. The user can access their invoices issued over the previous six months as well as the various administrative reports required.
The portal is particularly useful for our partners who are not yet equipped with an advanced EDI system (Electronic Data Interchange). The system in reality generates an automatic EDI file beginning with the orders sent by the customers. A number of other functions can also be explored in complete autonomy thanks to the assistance of the online guide.
The system is constantly updated on the basis of the feedback and suggestions we receive from our customers. This continuous exchange of information allows us to enrich the portal with new functions and make the overall experience more user-friendly.
